From a young age, I've always had an interest in art; in fact, my first dream career was actually a cartoonist! As I grew, my interest in art and design grew with me. As of today I have learned how to effectively express my creativity and communicate my ideas visually. On a daily basis I make use of software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create everything from brand identities and commisioned artwork, to postcards and posters.

I never thought I would enjoy something such as coding for websites; however, throughout my college career, I must say it is one of my favorite mediums, ableit a very stressful one. As a web developer, I found that I can combine my sense of design and user experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript to develop front-end websites that are not only attractive, but also easy to nagivate through and use. Through my studies I have also become efficient in coding with languages and frameworks such as VisualBasic and ASP.NET.

I've always said that if it wasn't for art, I'd more than likely be studying to be a creative writer. All throughout my schooling career I've had a love for telling stories and expressing myself through my writing; and I think I've gotten pretty good at it! I like to tell stories that have an impact on our daily lives and work to inform, persuade, or entertain their audience. These stories take the form of narratives, visuals, film, and audio. I use my skills as a communicator to develop informational and entertaining films, documentaries, podcasts, press release articles, and more.

I was always hesitant about photography and videography as they've never really sparked my interest; however, I was quickly enlightened to the fact that these two mediums are at the pinnacle of modern advertising and communications. Through my studies I have learned the basics in setting up and editing photos and planning, shooting, and editing video. I use my skills to take impactful photos and to create meaningful films that can play an important role in communicating messages to my audience.
