The first of three posters that made up the final composition. The handwriting on the posters is from the original poem written by Dawn Meyers, who died of a heroin overdose in 2015. The poem was scanned into the computer where I used photoshop to cut it apart and arrange it in the composition.

What Heroin Sounds Like
The main purposes of this project are to raise awareness of the current heroin epidemic within the United States, end negative stigma’s relating to heroin usage, and to build a community of support for those who’ve lost family to this epidemic. The end goal of this project is to hopefully build a template that other colleges/communities can use to combat the heroin epidemic in their own area.
