Description:
For this essay, I was to examine a vintage advertisement published before 1960 and discuss what attracted me to the advertisement, if it relied on outdated
information and/or beliefs, and if it was based on dated cultural norms. From there, I was then asked to analyze the advertisement purely based on the aesthetic value of the
ad's composition and determine if it was dated or not. Finally, I was to identify the advertisement's target audience and how the designer and copywriter of the advertisement
was reaching out to said audience.
