Snapcause Usability Test

User Experience

Snapcause is an app developed by a Lebanon Valley College alum to promote charity and kindness from businesses and patrons alike. His initial idea was that customers could donate a certain percent of their check to a charity of their choosing. The businesses would then match that amount donated to the charity.

My group members Caity Stevens, Eric Campbell, & Ryan Pugh decided to perform usability tests on the app to provide them to the creator so he could make the changes to his app. This provided us with some real world experience while it provided him with a better experience for his users.

After the issues were identified with cultivated a few questions that would provoke our test users to try and interact with the functions we thought were lacking. After an analysis of some questions to ask, as a group, we wrote a test script to use for our usability tests.
