Sergeant Safeguard Start-Up Plan
DCOM 262 Intro. to Entrepreneurship
Problem Solution: The number of school shootings and violence has increased in recent years. A need for safety is a concern as some schools have even started hiring resource officers. Sergeant Safeguard, a start-up idea, was thought to hire veterans from the military to be hired as school resource officers. This will provide veterans with a place of employment after being in battle and schools with trained individuals for school safety.
Group Project: As a part of this project, I created the first prototype of our website, which was a flow chart that explained the process of our start-up, starting with the military veteran application and ending with the placement of the veteran in a school. I also contributed to the PowerPoint presentation where we defended and explained our start-up to the class. (Group Members: MaKenzie Cuthie and Kyle Doremus)
