Take on the role of a fledgling monster hunter and face down larger than life beasts as you journey to become the ultimate hunter. Along your journey you'll defend each of the game's four villages from new major threats—the Fated Four - powerful new monsters that have emerged.
Astalos: The Electric Wyvern
The Astalos is one of the four flagship monsters in the fourth installment of the Monster Hunter video game series. Known as the "Thunder Wyvern," Astalos can charge itself with electricity from the furious movements of its wings, tail and crest. In its charged state, the membrane in its wings take on a beautiful glow that only barely offsets the terrible nature of this monster.
Gammoth: The Giant Beast
The Gammoth is one of the four flagship monsters in the fourth installment of the Monster Hunter video game series. Found in the most rigid regions of the world, Gammoths are behemoths with massive tusks. Though they are herbivores, when provoked they will leverage their enormous weight and trunks to crush a threat. They can also shatter the snow covering their legs to damage nearby foes.
Mizutsune: The Bubble Fox Wyvern
The Mizutsune is one of the four flagship monsters in the fourth installment of the Monster Hunter video game series. A specially evolved Leviathan with a sleek, lithe body. Mizutsune can secrete a peculiar fluid that covers its foes in immobilizing bubbles. Once its foe's movement is impaired, it closes in with spry, dance-like movements.
Glavenus: The Cutting Wyvern
Glavenus is one of the four flagship monsters in the fourth installment of the Monster Hunter video game series. The Glavenus is a large Brute Wyvern with dark red scales covering its body. Glavenus are relentless and aggressive predators. Glavenus is able to sharpen its blade-like tail in its mouth to give iself the ability to create fiery explosions with its tail.
