Each of Trivioso’s minigames operate in roughly the same way:
One player is excluded from the group, becoming the game’s host and more lovingly dubbed, the ‘Highest Inquisitor.’ Hosts can be swapped between games, or if you want the survivor to become the next host, it’s up to you!
Included in your game pack is the ultimate trivia booklet, the Trivioso Tome. Here you will find the instructions for each game and the questions asked during play. Only the ‘Highest Inquisitor’ or host, may read the book during each game.
To answer a question given by the host, a player must be the first one to grab the Trivioso Totem and make eye contact with the host. Penalties will be had for those that speak without the totem!
Finally, each player should receive a Trivioso Token. This is your life chip and shows the host who is still in the game or eliminated. To win, be the last player with their blue side still showing.
How do you win? Each game has a fun way to decide that.
All players have been thrown into the ocean with a nearby lifeboat carrying a limited amount of seats. A certain amount of questions, or life boat seats, are asked in a round and only players that answer correctly can survive. Think musical chairs, but in freezing-cold rising water.
It's time to d-d-d-d-d-duuuel. That's right, this is the age when people settled things with duels. This game eliminates people in a 1 versus 1 bases, choose your battles wisely.
Your teammates can quickly become your competition.
In this game, each team will answer as many questions as they can in 1 minute. The winning team for 2 of 3 rounds eliminates the other sleigh. The winning sleigh must then divide their team into two. If it is an uneven amount, dispute it between each other. Repeat this methodology until 3 players remain. Then it becomes a free for all - deciding the winner by most questions answered correctly in 1 minute.
