Process

This was one of my first projects that I worked with a client outside of school. I was in a sports betting discord server. A member sent a message in a channel about anyone knowing a graphic design person for a logo he needed. I privately messaged him about what he was looking for. We exchanged a few more messages about style and color. Then, I got to work.

The client wanted a circular logo that had curved words on near edges. He also wanted a blue and yellow color style, similar to the Golden State Warriors or the Indiana Pacers color schemes. The client requested that a yellow basketball was at the center of the logo. He provided me with a vision, which can be an advantage for me as the designer. So I made what he wanted on Adobe Illustrator, heavily utitlizing the pen tool and the type on a path tool. But then I expanded on his vision to offer some designs that might look better. I made 4 versions of the logo.

I sent over the logos and he loved them. As of September 2022, they have not gotten the podcast off the ground. But they do have a Twitter page dedicated to it which has the logo as the profile picture.
