Overview
Jones, Lakin & Co. is a tax preparing firm located in Westminster, Maryland. My mom works there,
and she asked me to meet with their office to update their website. The company is under new ownership and
the color scheme got changed. While I was doing simple changes, I identified regions of their website that
needed more attention.

Process
I familiarized myself with their website and then I met with the new owner and two other employees.
I listened to their initial concerns and took some notes. Then I looked at the website again on my own
to inspect the design elements and the code. I was not very user-freindly. I drew up some mockups and
emailed the owner back. She said that they have a website contractor and I should contact her about any
changes or issues I want to implement.
Currently, the project is on-hold waiting for the contractor to implement the changes and give more feedback.
