Ultra Street Fighter II Adds Network Battles

This comes as a major surprise to me. Both that this game exists in the first place and that the game has an online function. Not to mention that they are adding completely new characters for the first time in over 20 years. I have a shaky feeling that the netcode will be bad, though: most Street Fighter games I have played online are good at best. This worry is compounded by it being on a Nintendo console. Even though the online service is paid for, it does not ease my concerns at all.
